Vestel, a strategic player in the global mobility market, introduced its newly established company, Vestel Mobility, at the international e-mobility fair EV Charge Show held in Istanbul. The company participated with its electric vehicle charging stations.
Vestel has been accelerating its activities in the mobility market, and its participation in EV Charge Show, one of the leading international events in the e-mobility sector, further demonstrates its commitment. Vestel Mobility showcased its products and technologies in electric vehicle charging stations at a 120-square-meter booth at the event, which took place at Istanbul Expo Center from November 13–15.
Emphasizing that they have been investing in the mobility market for many years, Vestel Mobility stated that they are leveraging their expertise in consumer electronics and their strong capabilities in software, hardware, and design to make a significant impact on the mobility sector. This expertise strengthens the company in developing sustainable, renewable, and smart solutions. Being part of such a significant exhibition with large-capacity mobility products and solutions, which are still emerging on the agendas of global giants, is of critical importance for the company. Moving forward, Vestel aims to contribute to a smart and eco-friendly world by responding to future needs through mobility solutions, establishing itself as a strategic player in the global mobility market.
"Charging Europe's Electric Vehicles with Vestel"
With the electric vehicle charging stations manufactured by Vestel, over 250,000 charging socket installations have been completed in nearly 30 countries in Turkey and Europe. Vestel started producing its AC series for home and small businesses in 2017. Today, the company offers 60kW, 120kW, and 180kW fast charging stations as well as more powerful DC series with outputs of 240kW, 400kW, and 720kW for ultra-fast charging applications. With these DC products, public meter-based parking lots and electric fleet depots can significantly reduce waiting times with charging periods ranging from 10 to 45 minutes. Having launched the 720kW ultra-fast charging station this year, the company’s next goal is to release EVCs with a 1MW power output in 2025. The new EVCs will not only serve passenger vehicles but also electric fleet vehicles used in public transport.
Empowering Europe with Local Production in 30 Countries
With a wide range of products catering to various needs, Vestel offers a strong infrastructure for future technologies. Highlighting that all of its products are manufactured in Turkey, Vestel Mobility emphasized the company’s ability to provide pre-sale and after-sales services across all 81 provinces of Turkey, thanks to Vestel’s extensive sales and service network. This enables Vestel to respond rapidly to the energy needs of all customers requiring AC/DC products in the country. Moreover, Vestel offers AC/DC EVCs compliant with the regulations of leading European countries, providing a broad service area.
Storing Clean Energy with Vestel Technology
Vestel Mobility plays a key role in the energy transition process by offering innovative battery solutions that facilitate access to safe and uninterrupted energy. With its energy storage systems developed for telecommunications, residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, as well as solar and wind energy plants, Vestel provides an environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternative. These systems reduce dependence on the grid, enabling users to ensure uninterrupted energy during power outages while helping them save 20-30% on energy costs.
The company highlighted the growing prevalence of storage solutions for renewable energy sources like solar and wind worldwide, stating: "Many families, especially in European countries, store energy during the day through solar panels. This stored energy is used in homes at night with the help of battery solutions. This eco-friendly solution also leads to significant savings on energy costs. Vestel, with this perspective, produces energy storage systems for residential, commercial/industrial, and renewable solar/wind energy plants. Vestel was the first to introduce 75kWh and 300kWh products for both residential and collective use. This year, we will also launch 5MWh storage units for solar/wind energy plants."
